Meet the instructor

Katelynn Kemski

Katelynn Kemski is the founder and director of the Aquatic Safety Autism Program (ASAP). She is also an occupational therapist specializing in autism treatment and a certified lifeguard. Katelynn has spent the last 4 years teaching water safety skills to children, teens, and adults with autism at Arbor Autism Centers, as well as developing ASAP, which is set to launch in June 2025. Katelynn obtained her OT degree from Grand Valley State University and started her career at Michigan Medicine as a member of the STEPS autism treatment team. Her passion is to support the autism community both on land and in the water.
