Become a Water Safe Swimmer Today
Private Lessons
Address the following areas within a 1:1 lesson format 1-2 times per week with an ASAP Certified Provider:
- Water Safe Swimmer – develop the 5 water safety skills identified by the American Red Cross to become an independent swimmer. These include skills surrounding safe entry/exit, turning over, floating, treading, submersion, resurfacing, and swimming for distance.
- Aquatic Therapy – work on motor skills, endurance, sensory processing, emotional regulation, engagement, social play, and communication skills within a motivating, sensory-rich water environment.
For individuals 6 months - 17 years of age who:
- Qualify for occupational therapy, speech therapy or ABA therapy services
- Have BCBS, BCN, or Aetna insurance or are willing to pay out of pocket for services (Blue Care Complete and Aetna Better Health are NOT accepted)
*Additional ages can be discussed for cash payment*

Multidisciplinary Groups
Address the following areas within a group lesson format 1-2x per week with an Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist:
- Water Safe Swimmer – develop the 5 water safety skills identified by the American Red Cross to become an independent swimmer. These include skills surrounding safe entry/exit, turning over, floating, treading, submersion, resurfacing, and swimming for distance.
- Occupational Therapy – work on specific occupational therapy plan of care goals within a sensory-rich water environment.
- Speech Therapy – work on specific speech therapy plan of care goals within a sensory-rich water environment.
For individuals 6 months - 17 years of age who:
- Qualify for occupational therapy, speech therapy or ABA therapy services

Family Group Classes
Address the following areas within a large group lesson format with 2 instructors and 8 swimmers with a parent/guardian:
- Sensory Challenges - support avoidant and fearless swimmers become more comfortable and safer in and around the water.
- Water Safe Swimmer – develop the 5 water safety skills identified by the American Red Cross to become an independent swimmer. These include skills surrounding safe entry/exit, turning over, floating, treading, submersion, resurfacing, and swimming for distance.
- Parent/Caregiver Education - teach families how to work with their swimmers with direct, hands-on training and practice
Additional Details:
- For ages 3 - 14 years
- Classes run for 1 hour, 1x per week for 8 weeks
- Minimum 5 and maximum 8 students per class
- $195 to register
*A parent/guardian 18 years or older MUST accompany each participant in the water*
